What was the life expectancy in 1750s?

I am doing a creative essay for school, and i want to incorporate a man dying. The scene is set in 1755. The man will die from falling off a horse and not being able to recover from the injuries. I'm not sure how old i should make the man. I can't find anything on this topic on the internet. I've tried almost everything. Please help
