Does anyone know how I can best get local businesses to sponsor me for the Miss California Teen pageant?

I need $700 for the entrance fee, and I have nothing to offer them in return. Most places don't want to give their money away, especially so something that seems so trivial as a beauty pageant. Any sponsorship grabbing, or fundraising ideas? Money is due March 15th, and I live in Southern California, if that helps at all.
