Free domain name?

Are there any ways of getting a free domain name? For my website the url is www.sdmfgameclan.tripod.com. Any tricks to where all u do is type in www.sdmfgameclan.com and it takes u to the first mentioned? Any Ideas at all would be of MUCH help!
