My boyfriend wants a tattoo that i hate what should i do?

its a big one that will take up his entire stomach, not that i am against tattoos or anything but when he got his first one a year ago i was sad because its like he changed a bit of himself and i love how he looks and i don't want him to change it! i know its his body and he can to it what he wants but i absolutely hate this tattoo and its quite a large one, is there anyway i could convince him to reconsider or at least get a smaller one?
