Should George Washington be held up as an example to American kids?Would he be a good example nowadays?

Of course he's a good example. As an American, I was taught such things. He did a great many things and held his desire and loyalty for his country and people. We must keep in mind, however, Washington was from a completely different time. The world doesn't operate like it did back then, therefore we must'nt compare the 18th century to this 21st century. I say respect the times and the man.
